.DISCUSSION...
Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will be present
through Tuesday due to continued afternoon/early evening gusty
southwest winds and low humidity. Afternoon gusts to around 24 to
30 mph are expected Monday and slightly lighter on Tuesday. Winds
will mostly decouple in the Dripping Spring wash and shift out of
the north northwest overnight. Some erratic directions and speeds
will be possible Monday night due to stronger winds cresting the
ridgetops to the west. Then winds will quickly revert to south
(upvalley) after sunrise then southwest by late morning. Afternoon
MinRHs will fall to near 10% each day, following poor to fair
overnight recoveries.
