256 FNUS55 KPSR 132044 FWFPSR Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central Arizona and Southeast California National Weather Service Phoenix AZ 144 PM MST Wed Aug 13 2025 .DISCUSSION... Thunderstorm chances will generally increase over eastern districts through Friday with moderate chances of wetting rainfall - particularly over higher terrain of Gila County. Abrupt wind shifts with gusty outflows will be common with any storms. Temperatures will slowly cool closer to the seasonal normal through Friday, and in combination with better moisture profiles, afternoon humidity levels should improve closer to a 20-30% range in eastern districts, but remain 10-20% in western areas. Overnight recovery will vary widely across the area from 30% to 80%. ...Thunderstorms imply gusty winds... Note...Additional Fire Weather Forecast information can be found in the Area Forecast Discussion. See product PHXAFDPSR.
