Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
118 AM MST Thu Jul 23 2026

.DISCUSSION...
With temperatures warming above the seasonal normal, drier
weather will prevail through Friday with only slight chances for
isolated, short lived storms over mountains of eastern districts.
Despite the drier weather, minimum humidity levels will only fall
into a 10-25% range following fair to good overnight recovery of
30-60%. Winds will be seasonally light with limited afternoon
gusts, and no expected thunderstorm outflows.

...Thunderstorms imply gusty winds...

Note...Additional Fire Weather Forecast information can be found
