.Training thunderstorms overnight has led to areal flooding across
portions of N Pinal and SE Maricopa County.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM MST THIS MORNING...
...REPLACES FLOOD ADVISORY...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Arizona, including
  the following counties, in south central Arizona, Maricopa. In
  southeast Arizona, Pinal.

* WHEN...Until 700 AM MST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 406 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
    Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Chandler, Gilbert, Casa Grande, Sun Lakes, Maricopa, Queen
    Creek, Olberg, Bapchule, Seville, Estrella Sailport, Chandler
    Heights, San Tan Mountain Park, Blackwater, San Tan Valley,
    Santan, Sacaton, Ak-Chin Village and Stanfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
