...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...North Central Yuma County in southwestern Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 930 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some
  low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 636 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.25 and 1.75 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Alamo Wash, Gravel Wash, Red Raven Wash, Tenmile Wash, Yaqui
    Wash, Tyson Wash, Indian Wash, Hoodoo Wash and French Creek.
    Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

    Palm Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
