The Flood Watch is cancelled for a portion of south central Arizona,
including the following areas, Apache Junction/Gold Canyon, Dripping
Springs, Globe/Miami, Northwest Pinal County, Pinal/Superstition
Mountains, San Carlos, Sonoran Desert Natl Monument, Southeast Gila
County, Superior and West Pinal County.

Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat tonight. Please
continue to heed remaining road closures.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Arizona, including the following
  areas, Apache Junction/Gold Canyon, Dripping Springs, Globe/Miami,
  Northwest Pinal County, Pinal/Superstition Mountains, San Carlos,
  Sonoran Desert Natl Monument, Southeast Gila County, Superior and
  West Pinal County.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening through late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Light rain may continue past midnight, but the threat for heavy
    rainfall and flooding has ended for tonight.

  Central Phoenix, Deer Valley, East Valley, Fountain Hills/East
  Mesa, Mazatzal Mountains, New River Mesa, North Phoenix/Glendale,
  Northwest Valley, Rio Verde/Salt River, Scottsdale/Paradise Valley,
  South Mountain/Ahwatukee, Southeast Valley/Queen Creek, Tonopah
  Desert and Tonto Basin.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening through late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Ample moisture and atmospheric instability will again combine
    with a weather system positioned over western portions of the
    region to promote scattered thunderstorms capable of producing
    heavy rainfall from Sunday evening into Sunday night. Training of
    storms could result in localized rainfall amounts of over two
    inches within the watch area.

  South Mountain/Ahwatukee, Southeast Valley/Queen Creek, Tonopah

* WHEN...Until 5 AM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Scattered thunderstorms are ongoing across northern portions of
    Maricopa County, some of which are producing moderate to locally
    heavy rainfall. Any training of thunderstorms tonight could
    result in rainfall amounts of over an inch and localized minor
    flooding.
