...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LANE COUNTY THROUGH
545 PM PDT...

At 514 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles west of Willamette Pass, or 17 miles southeast of Oakridge,
moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Lane
County.

In Oregon this includes State Highway 58 between mile markers 49 and
57.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
