...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL LANE COUNTY
THROUGH 430 PM PDT...

At 407 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Hills Creek Reservoir, or 12 miles south of Oakridge.
This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oakridge, Hills Creek Reservoir, and Westfir.

In Oregon this includes State Highway 58 between mile markers 29 and
41.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If on or near Hills Creek Reservoir, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
