...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in areas of dense fog.
  Fog will be most prevalent along rivers and lakes.

* WHERE...Willamette Valley, Greater Portland and Vancouver Metro,
  Foothills of the Northern and Central Oregon Cascades, North and
  Central Coast Range Valleys of Oregon, Lower Columbia River and
  Cowlitz River Valleys Including I-5, Willapa and Wahkiakum
  Lowlands, and South Washington Cascade Foothills.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
Pedestrians and cyclists should wear bright or reflective clothing
to increase the chances of being seen by others in poor visibility
conditions.

...FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM PDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Low temperatures of 33 to 36F will produce areas of frost.

* WHERE...Upper Hood River Valley.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
  outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas around Parkdale and Dee Flat will
  experience the coldest temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender outdoor plants from the cold.
Consider temporarily moving outdoor potted plants indoors if they
are sensitive to cold temperatures.

Consider temporarily covering sensitive plants with a lightweight
cotton fabric (i.e., bedsheets, thin blankets), as this will help
retain heat and provide frost protection for your plants.
