...FREEZE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
WEDNESDAY MORNING...
...FREEZE WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 9 AM PDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...For the Freeze Watch Tuesday night into Wednesday morning,
  sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 to 32 degrees possible.

* WHERE...Upper Hood River Valley.

* WHEN...From late tonight through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
  plumbing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For the Freeze Watch Tuesday night into
  Wednesday morning, probabilities for temperatures at or below 32
  degrees range between 50-70%, while probabilities for a hard
  freeze with temperatures of 28 degrees or colder range between
  15-40%. These probabilities are highest in the Parkdale area and
  lowest in Odell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.

Take steps now to protect tender outdoor plants from the cold.
Consider temporarily moving outdoor potted plants indoors if they
are sensitive to cold temperatures.

Consider temporarily covering sensitive plants with a lightweight
cotton fabric (i.e., bedsheets, thin blankets), as this will help
retain heat and provide frost protection for your plants.
