In Washington, South Washington Cascade Foothills. * WHEN...From Friday morning through late Sunday night. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events, especially for those spending time outdoors or without access to adequate cooling. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in a cool place during the heat of the day, stay out of the sunshine, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
