For the Gale Warning, seas 9 to 13 ft at 9 seconds and south winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt expected. * WHERE...Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence out 60 NM. * WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, from 11 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT this evening. Gale Warning, from 8 PM this evening to 5 AM PDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will be strongest in the outer waters south of Tillamook. Winds will peak around 8 PM Tuesday through 4 AM Wednesday. Hazardous seas are expected just prior to the start of the Gale Warning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires experience and properly equipped vessels.
