* WHEN...Until midnight PDT Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Rough bar conditions expected. Seas 9 ft building to 10
  ft  Thursday afternoon.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
  especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
  Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ebb current of 5.18 kt at 437 PM Wednesday.
  Seas 9 ft. Ebb current of 4.36 kt at 505 AM Thursday. Seas 9 ft.
  Ebb current of 5.11 kt at 516 PM Thursday. Seas 9 to 10 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.
