...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 5 AM PDT
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, Rough bar conditions
  expected with general seas 5 ft building to 9 ft Saturday
  morning. A very strong ebb current of 7.31 kt at 600 PM Friday
  with seas 10 to 11 ft. South winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to
  25 kt possible. For the Gale Warning, seas 4 to 6 ft at 8
  seconds and south winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt
  expected.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, from 10 AM this morning to 2 PM
  PDT this afternoon. Gale Warning, from 2 PM this afternoon to
  5 AM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
