TUESDAY...

* WHAT...For the first Small Craft Advisory, seas 10 to 12 ft at
  14 seconds and southwest winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30
  kt. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous
  seas 10 to 15 ft at 13 seconds and southwest winds 15 to 25 kt
  with gusts up to 30 kt expected. Occasional gusts up to 35 kt
  possible between 5 AM to 11 AM Tuesday. For the second Small
  Craft Advisory, seas 8 to 11 ft at 12 seconds and southwest
  winds 10 to 15 kt expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence out 60
  NM.

* WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, until 2 AM PDT Tuesday. Hazardous
  Seas Warning, from 2 AM to 5 PM PDT Tuesday. Small Craft
  Advisory, from 5 PM to 11 PM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause
  damage to vessels.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Hazardous Seas Warning means hazardous sea conditions are
imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in
port, or take shelter until waves subside.  Commercial vessels
should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in port or
taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.

* WHAT...Rough bar conditions expected. Seas 8 to 11 ft at 14
  seconds and southwest winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt.
  Occasional gusts up to 35 kt possible between 5 AM to 11 AM
  Tuesday.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
  especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
  Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ebb current of 4.11 kt at 143 PM Monday.
  Seas 10 ft. Ebb current of 3.15 kt at 226 AM Tuesday. Seas 10 to
  11 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.
