.DISCUSSION...Hot and dry conditions continue through the early
next week. Increased easterly winds in the western Columbia Gorge
this morning. Strong nighttime thermal belts will produce very
poor overnight relative humidity recoveries across the higher
terrain through at least Sunday night. Thunderstorms may return to
the central Oregon Cascades late Sunday onward into next week.
