DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression
Atsani was located near Latitude 21.0 degrees North and Longitude
137.0 degrees East. Atsani is moving north-northwest at 18 mph.
It is expected to make a slight turn toward the north with a
dramatic decrease in forward speed through Wednesday. The Joint
Typhoon Warning Center has issued a final warning on TD Atsani.
We will continue to monitor TD Atsani for potential regeneration
while it remains within our Area of Responsibility (AoR).

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to 30 mph. Atsani is
forecast to weaken through Wednesday.

Service on Atsani unless evidence of regeneration occurs within our
Area of Responsibility (AoR).
