...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CHST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Hazardous surf of 7 to 9 feet.

* WHERE...South and west facing reefs of Yap.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM ChST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The southwest swell is diminishing and is
  expected to drop below hazardous levels this evening. Surf and
  swell will gradually decrease for the remainder of the week as
  the monsoon surge shifts north of the region.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
