...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM SUNDAY TO 5 PM CHST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 8 to 10 feet.

* WHERE...West and north facing reefs of Palau and Yap.

* WHEN...From 5 PM Sunday to 5 PM ChST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An incoming northwest to north swell,
  generated by strong winds behind a cold front near Japan, will
  quickly build surf along west and north facing reefs Sunday
  afternoon. Hazardous surf around 9 feet will continue through
  Tuesday as the swell will be slow to subside.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
