DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 100 AM CHST...1500 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 27W
was located near Latitude 14.7 degrees North and Longitude
129.2 degrees East. 27W is moving west at 12 mph. It is expected
to make a slight turn toward the west-northwest with a slight
increase in forward speed through Friday. This forecast track is
expected to take 27W through the Philippine Sea toward the
Philippines.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 30 mph. 27W is forecast to
intensify through Friday, possibly becoming a tropical storm later
today.
