SUMMARY OF 100 PM CHST...0300 UTC...INFORMATION ----------------------------------------------- Location...18.6N 161.5E About 340 miles west of Wake About 830 miles north-northeast of Pohnpei About 920 miles north of Kosrae About 1070 miles east-northeast of Saipan About 1075 miles east-northeast of Tinian About 1120 miles east-northeast of Rota About 1160 miles east-northeast of Guam Maximum sustained winds...155 mph Present movement...west-northwest...295 degrees at 12 mph DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 100 PM CHST...0300 UTC...the center of Super Typhoon Dolphin was located near Latitude 18.6 degrees North and Longitude 161.5 degrees East. Dolphin is moving west-northwest at 12 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the northwest with little change in forward speed through Saturday. Maximum sustained winds remain at 155 mph. Dolphin is forecast to maintain this intensity through tonight. Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 60 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 175 miles.
