At 700 AM CHST...2100 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 02W
was located near Latitude 24.3 degrees North and Longitude
144.9 degrees East. 02W is moving northwest at 9 mph. It is
expected to maintain this general course with an increase in
forward speed through Tuesday.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 35 mph. 02W is forecast to
intensify through tonight, possibly becoming a tropical storm after it
exits NWS Guam`s AOR to the northwest.
