DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression
Nakri was located near Latitude 19.5 degrees North and Longitude
138.1 degrees East. Nakri is moving north-northwest at 8 mph. It
is expected to maintain this general course with an increase in
forward speed through Thursday. As currently forecast, Nakri will
exit north of the NWS Guam Area of Responsibility Friday.

Maximum sustained winds are 30 mph. Nakri is forecast to
intensify through Thursday possibly becoming a tropical storm early
Thursday morning.
