...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL, STRONG WIND GUSTS, AND MINOR INUNDATION
TONIGHT...

A surface trough is crossing the region, and it will continue to
produce showers and thunderstorms through the night. By late Tuesday
morning, this feature will have moved off to the west, with a
gradual decrease in shower and thunderstorm intensity expected to
occur through the morning. Still, a few of these showers and
thunderstorms will continue to produce strong wind gusts of 40 to 50
mph and locally heavy rainfall. As a result, minor tree and roofing
damage could occur, with localized flooding also possible. Thus far,
coastal inundation has been minor, and this should become less of a
concern during the night.
