...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM CHST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and
  seas 6 to 9 feet.

* WHERE...Pohnpei Coastal Waters.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM ChST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A fairly sharp, compact surface trough will
  cross the region over the next 24 hours. Intense convection was
  observed within the last 12 hours at Kosrae to your southeast,
  and the afternoon altimetry shows 25 to 30 knot winds centered
  between Pohnpei and Kosrae. This, along with increasing moisture
  will allow for sustained winds of 20 knots, with gusts to 30
  knots probable. Isolated Gale Force gusts to 35 knots are not
  out of the question, especially near heavy showers or
  thunderstorms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions.
