Mostly cloudy skies with breezy east-southeast winds remain across the islands. Satellite imageries continue to show fair weather conditions remaining over the area as a high pressure system lingers. This is supported by the latest upper air radiosonde observations (RAOB) this afternoon (04/00Z). An inversion at the 800 to 760 mb levels confirms an atmosphere trensitioning into a dry and stable condition. Model data also show a mid-level high pressure system lingering over the area for this forecast period. With these features, significant cloud formation is suppressed, and any possible showers will be brief and passing. Fresh easterlies will remain for tonight, decreasing to a gentle to moderate flow on Friday, then increasing again to a fresh southeast breeze on Saturday through the rest of the forecast period. Thus, expect dry and breezy conditions to remain for the rest of the week through the new week. && .Marine... Model solutions continue to show seas building further tonight and Friday, before subsiding on Friday night through the end of the forecast period. Moderate to fresh east-southeast winds will likely prevail as a strong high pressure system to the south remains throughout this time frame. By early next week, winds will gradually decrease as seas also subside.
