.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...The trough over the islands is
slowly dissipating and moving east northeast. High pressure to the
southwest builds and migrates eastward. Observations across the
islands show steady winds from the south. South winds will
increase to gentle flow tonight and persist through Saturday. As
the high pressure strengthens, winds will rise to breezy flow on
Saturday and Sunday. With the high pressure to the south of the
territory, winds will shift southeast on Sunday night. Stable
weather will continue across the islands on the weekend.

.Long term...
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...Breezy trades will continue to start off
the new week. With the high pressure to the southeast, trades
shift to the east on Monday night. A shortwave trough will
increase showers over the islands on Tuesday night and Wednesday.
Winds will also shift northeast as the shortwave trough pass
across the islands. Winds will shift to gentle east flow on
Thursday. Showers and moisture will again move up north on the
latter part of the week.

.Marine...
The PacIOOS buoy near Aunuu continues to show seas of 6 to 8 feet
while the King buoy near Poloa displays seas of 4 to 6 feet. Tula
Observatory is reporting light winds from the south at around 5 to
10 knots. Models are forecasting winds to slightly increase
tonight 10 to 15 knots. Rough seas will persist tonight before
further builds 7 to 9 feet on Saturday night with the
strengthening of winds to breezy flow. Swells from the south are
expected to elevate seas 9 to 12 feet on Monday night and Tuesday.
As the swells subside on Tuesday night, seas will slightly drop 7
to 9 feet and persist through Wednesday.
