Requesting no unnecessary travel. 0446 PM Snow/Ice Dmg 1 W Clementsville 43.87N 111.39W 02/07/2025 Teton ID Dept of Highways Idaho Transportation Department reports ID-33 closed from Newdale to Tetonia due to blowing and drifting snow and low visibility. 0508 PM Non-Tstm Wnd Dmg 2 N Ucon 43.63N 111.96W 02/07/2025 Jefferson ID Utility Company Rocky Mountain Power reports strong winds resulted in a power outage to several customers in the Garfield area. 1100 PM Avalanche 7 E Mapleton 42.07N 111.61W 02/07/2025 Franklin ID Park/Forest Srvc Updated...Utah Avalanche Center reports an avalanche caught carried and buried a snowmobile rider in the Franklin Basin Area. The avalanche was estimated to be 3.5 feet deep and about 70 feet wide. A companion found and rescued the rider whose head was buried about two feet deep with only a hand and a sliver of the deployed airbag sticking out of the avalanche debris.
