.DISCUSSION...Monsoon moisture will remain in place through Wednesday.
The fire site will be right on the northwest edge of where isolated dry
thunderstorms are forecast today. There is a 10-40% chance for gusts
of 35-50 mph today with any virga or storms that develop. Near-critical
conditions are forecast today due to wind and low humidity. There is higher
probability of storms directly impacting the fire tomorrow. Daytime winds are
expected to come from the Pahsimeroi Valley side of the fire vs west and southwest.
Starting Thursday, multiple days of hotter and very dry conditions are expected
along with critical to near-critical conditions due to wind and very low humidity.
