.DISCUSSION...An atmospheric river event will bring snow every day
through late next week. Forecast snow totals today through Sunday
morning along the route between Galena Lodge and the SNRA headquarters
range 12 to 20 inches, with the highest totals further northwest
toward the lodge. 3 to 5 inches are forecast during the day Saturday.
Snow will be moderate to heavy at times, with 2 to 4 inches possible
within a 6 hour period. Chance of snow will be greatest during the
morning hours, decreasing after Noon. Winds will continue to increase
through Saturday afternoon with gusts 25 to 35 mph potentially leading
to blowing snow issues and intermittent reductions in visibility.
