.DISCUSSION...
Following scattered thunderstorms yesterday, drier conditions are
expected today as high pressure builds in out of the south.
Lingering moisture in the Central Mountains today will support
another round of isolated showers and thunderstorms this afternoon
on the fire, with best chances further north towards the Idaho-
Montana state line. Winds will remain breezy each afternoon with
gusts peaking around 20-25 mph. Coupled with relative humidity in
the single teens and 20s today dropping to the single digits and
teens for Tuesday, near critical to critical fire weather
conditions are expected during the afternoon hours.

.TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Sunny in the morning, then becoming partly
                    sunny in the afternoon. Isolated showers and
                    thunderstorms in the afternoon.
CWR.................5 to 10 percent.
Chance of thunder...10 to 20 percent.
Max temperature.....76 to 80 degrees.
Min humidity........16 to 20 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........South winds 6 to 10 mph in the morning shifting to
                    the southwest 12 to 18 mph with gusts up to 25 mph
                    in the afternoon. Gusty and erratic winds expected
                    near thunderstorms in the afternoon.
