...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM FRIDAY...

.DISCUSSION...
Moderate snow this morning will likely mix with or even change to
rain this afternoon over the burn area, with temperatures near
freezing potentially supporting a mix tonight as well. It`s going
to continue to be a dreary, cloudy, moist, wet/snowy day with an
additional 3 to 6 inches of accumulation forecast, especially
prior to rain interfering. Some of our high-resolution models are
hinting at an organized break in the precipitation early Friday
morning (daybreak or before) into potentially midday Friday, but
they do not agree on exact timing. Rain and snow showers appear
likely to return Friday afternoon or evening. Deep-layer south
winds will continue as well throughout the next 48 hours.
