.DISCUSSION...Mainly dry conditions are expected through the first
half of today behind the few sprinkles/light showers we saw in the
early morning hours. Wind gusts will pick up this afternoon,
approaching the 25 to 35 mph range. The chance for a shower or
even an isolated storm will also increase as the day goes on as
our next system approaches and a cold front moves through
overnight into early Monday. While the main round of moisture
comes through late tonight/early Monday, an isolated shower or
storm chance will continue Monday afternoon. Look for stronger
wind gusts of closer to 40 or even 45 mph on Monday behind the
cold front.
