Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms today should diminish around sunset, with a few showers lingering past midnight. A widespread area of showers will shift across the district starting late tonight or early tomorrow through early afternoon, followed by another round of isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms. There is a greater than 65% chance of wetting rains across the district Friday, with a 50% chance of exceeding one-quarter inch across the Frank Church and the Pahsimeroi and Lemhi ranges. A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible Saturday, otherwise expect a drying and warming trend for the remainder of the weekend into at least mid- week next week. * East Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones 410...411 and 413)... ...RED FLAG WARNING UNTIL 8 PM FOR SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ZONE 413... Isolated to scattered thunderstorms today should diminish around sunset, with a few showers lingering past midnight. A widespread area of showers will shift across the district early to mid-day Friday, followed by another round of isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms. Most of the district will have at least a 30% chance of wetting rains, with the exception of the south half of Zone 413 and the southwest quarter of Zone 410. Further north, the chances increase dramatically, to a better than 65% chance of wetting rain across Zone 411. There is a 35-45% chance of exceeding one-quarter inch for Zone 411 for Friday.
