* Central Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones 475
and 476)...
Dry conditions prevail today before shower and thunderstorm chances
return in earnest on Tuesday as a shortwave taps into elevated
moisture over the Central Mountains and the Montana Divide. Daytime
highs will hover in the 70s to lower 80s. Breezy west-southwest
winds will develop Wednesday through late week as pressure gradients
tighten, but near-normal temperatures and adequate humidity recoveries
are expected to continue.
* East Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones 410...411
and 413)...
After a dry daytime period, passing shortwave energy will introduce
scattered shower and thunderstorm risks by early this evening,
primarily across Zones 411 and 413, with lower chances expected in
the Snake Plain (Zone 410). This activity may linger into early
Tuesday morning with another round of showers and storms likely Tuesday
afternoon. Temperatures will remain near seasonal averages through
mid-week. Expect breezy afternoon southwest winds to develop Wednesday
through Friday.

Generally dry conditions are expected across the southern zones today
through early evening. Thereafter, an isolated afternoon or evening
mountain shower cannot be entirely ruled out with another round possible
during the afternoon on Tuesday. Daytime highs will remain seasonable
in the upper 70s to lower 80s. West-southwest winds will become periodically
breezy during the afternoon hours mid-to-late week as passing systems
to the north tighten the regional pressure gradient. Overnight RH
recoveries will remain very good to excellent.
