High pressure will dominate the pattern starting today, with warming
and drying continuing through Thursday. A trough approaching for
the weekend will start increasing wind Thursday afternoon, then
return cooler temperatures starting Friday and continuing with showers
and thunderstorms through the weekend. Humidity in lower elevations
will drop below the 15 percent threshold for more and more areas over
the next three days; by Thursday, it should combine with the wind to
bring critical fire weather conditions.
