Isolated thunderstorms this afternoon will produce mainly gusty
winds of 50+ mph and little, if any, rainfall as a shortwave trough
passes through the area. A ridge of high pressure returns on
Wednesday, drying us out and warming us up, but winds remain light
so we are not anticipating reaching Red Flag criteria. Monsoon
moisture returns Friday and through the weekend with storms more
likely to reach "scattered" levels on Saturday.
