The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  North central Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 345 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Mountainhome,
  or near Mount Pocono, moving south at 5 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to
           roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mount Pocono, Paradise Valley, Skytop, Mountainhome, Canadensis,
  Alpine Mountain, and Cresco.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Mount Holly NJ.

If on or near Mountain Lake or any other lakes, get away from the
water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can
strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to
safe shelter now!  Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
