...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM APPROACHING THE WATERS...

  Coastal waters from Sandy Hook to Manasquan Inlet NJ out 20 nm...
  Waters from Sandy Hook NJ to Manasquan Inlet NJ out 20 to 40 nm...

At 1011 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was
located over Fair Haven, moving northeast at 45 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Sea Girt Reef, Belmar, Atlantic Highlands, Monmouth Beach, Sea
Bright, Sandy Hook Reef, Fair Haven, and Point Pleasant Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
