The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  East Central Berks County in eastern Pennsylvania...
  Southeastern Lehigh County in eastern Pennsylvania...
  Northwestern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 445 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
  rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1
  hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
  Emmaus, East Greenville, Bally, Bechtelsville, Zionsville, Ancient
  Oaks, Pennsburg, Macungie and Alburtis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
