Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches above 4000 feet, heaviest along the Cascade crest. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades. * WHEN...From 5 PM Tuesday to 5 AM PDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Significant snowfall with periods of heavy snowfall rates will combine with low visibility to create very difficult driving conditions. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lighter snowfall is forecast below 4000 feet along US 97, US 26, and US20.
