...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN GRANT COUNTY
THROUGH 445 PM PDT...

At 417 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southeast of Canyon City, or 10 miles southeast of John Day,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Prairie City.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
