...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL CROOK AND SOUTH
CENTRAL DESCHUTES COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM PDT...

At 542 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Brothers, or 32 miles south of Prineville, moving north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Brothers.

This includes Highway 20 between mile markers 34 and 48.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
