...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL GRANT COUNTY
THROUGH 700 PM PDT...

At 623 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northwest of Mount Vernon, or 14 miles northwest of John Day,
moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
John Day, Canyon City, Mount Vernon, and Fox.
