...BREEZY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING...

.Breezy diurnally driven westerly winds coupled with low relative
humidity is expected to continue through the Lower Columbia Basin
of Oregon each afternoon and evening through Saturday. Relative
humidity will be above critical thresholds overnight.

PDT SATURDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER
ZONE OR691...

The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 2 PM this afternoon to 10 PM PDT Saturday.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 691 Lower Columbia Basin of
  Oregon.

* TIMING...From 2 PM this afternoon to 10 PM PDT Saturday.

* WINDS...West 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
  quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
