.DISCUSSION...Strong upper-level ridge will build overhead
Saturday promoting warming and dry conditions with highs reading
around 5 degrees above average. Meantime, weak surface pressure
differences will be seen with surface high pressure prevailing
prompting light diurnally driven winds becoming NE late morning-
afternoon with infrequent gusts 10-15 mph. The combination of
light surface and transport winds, shifting from NE to SE,
Saturday with modest mixing heights could promote potentially
locally poor-fair smoke dispersal.
