.DISCUSSION...Precipitation, associated with a strong low pressure system
off the coast, will spread east of the Cascades tonight and Friday morning
with light to moderate rain and the burn site.  A cold front will follow
Friday night and lower snow levels down to around 3500 feet. There will be
light snow accumulations, but the chance of snow amounts greater than an inch
is only 20 percent. It will be gusty along the ridges and slightly breezy
along the 20-foot level on Friday.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (70-80 percent). Periods of rain, mainly
                    in the morning.
CWR.................90 percent. Rainfall amounts 0.25-0.35 inches expected.

Wind (20 ft)........Variable 0-2 mph...becoming South 1-3 mph after 1000 PST
                    then Southwest 3-8 mph after 1200 PST. Afternoon gusts to

                    23 mph in the afternoon.
