.DISCUSSION...Building high pressure over the area will attribute
to breezy afternoon winds through the Gorge and Kittitas Valley
today. The warming trend continues as highs will break into the
90s across the Columbia Basin, before triple digits Sunday and
Monday. Afternoon humidities will also drop into the mid-teens
across Central Oregon and the Columbia Basin starting Sunday, with
moderate overnight recoveries (35-50%) across the Columbia Basin
Sunday morning and extending into Central Oregon and the Blue
Mountains Monday morning. A pattern change Tuesday will bring the
potential for dry thunderstorms.
