.DISCUSSION...Hot, dry, and breezy conditions will continue this
afternoon and evening through the Cascade gaps and much of the
Columbia Basin. Isolated thunderstorms have developed across the
Blue Mountains. Thursday, a slight chance of thunderstorms is
forecast for the Blue Mountains with dry and locally breezy
conditions in the Columbia Gorge and Basin. Thursday night and
Friday, confidence is increasing in another round of showers and
thunderstorms across the region, but uncertainty in precise timing
and location remains.
