.DISCUSSION...There is a low (less than 30%) chance of showers and
thunderstorms today, mainly across the Cascades and central
Oregon, with chances over the eastern mountains this morning. On
Thursday, there is still some chance in the Cascades, but also
eastern Oregon. Low relative humidities and lightning will allow
for enhanced fire weather concerns. After Thursday, dry and hot
weather is expected through the weekend, though there could be
additional chances of thunderstorms early next week.
